This USB to Serial Adapter is necessary for the E30 MegaSquirt Plug-N-Play. It works properly with all versions of TunerStudio.  We highly recommend it if your tuning laptop doesn’t have a DB9 Serial connector.  This adapter uses a genuine FTDI chipset. It also includes a 2′ extension cable, but we only recommend using the extension cable if you have vibration issues with the adapter plugged directly into your laptop.
